The 7inch Vinyl Record of Avatar – City Beneath The Surface is a relatively expensive and collectible object even in its “simple” release (black vinyl).
The regular release of the record is black except for a very small amount, perhaps less than 25 pieces that have been released in yellow.
According to popsike that keeps the oldest ebay sales records, the highest sold copy appeared for sale in 2012 and was sold for $9,000, making it one of the most inexpensive 7inch vinyl records of metal music.
The simple version (black vinyl) costs around $100 and $150.
Even to this day, it has appeared only a few times on and out of the internet and is rightly considered one of the most expensive US metal vinyl items.
Although the price always depends on the demand, we believe that an amount of around 2,000 to 3,000 is a fair price for this yellow vinyl piece of Heavy Metal collectible history.
