Somebody once said that there are two albums that deserve the nickname "The Sgt Pepper of the Eighties" The one is "Hounds of love".
"Running up that Hill" is a classic, along with "Big Sky". The album is split into two parts: "Hounds of Love" and the "Ninth Wave". The first part is more accessible than the second. The second takes more time to really show off how good it is. Each side is a beautiful experience on its own. So many emotions captured on one amazing album
Complex arrangements, unpredictable layers of atmosphere surround the songs. A female voice with phrasing at times accelerated, sometimes slow and ethereal.
Exciting art-pop
You can find it about $10 in great condition.
