Possesed were way ahead of most bands in extreme metal at the time. The “Seven Churches” album is without a doubt the first step in death metal. It’s a groundbraking album not just innovative, but also a quality extreme metal record.
It is remarkable the complexity of the song structures and the excellent work in guitarwork.
