Weakling’s “Dead As Dreams” is the first and only full-length album for the band from San Francisco, United States. It was first released on cassette and CDr in 1999, and it was a self-released album.
It was officially pressed on a vinyl record in 2000. In total, “Dead As Dreams” has been released formally on vinyl, only one time to date.

Weakling’s “Dead As Dreams” is a “well-hidden secret” of Black Metal music, incredibly atmospheric, raw, and heavy. In “Dead As Dreams,” one can find doomy riffs and great black melodies.
The guitar work is also excellent. Perhaps the most respectable US Black metal album ever released!
