After 60 years of collecting (1940s & '50s R&B vocal groups) & over 40 years of selling (R&B & everything else), I am placing my stock of approximately (probably low figures) 1200 78RPM records, 5000 LPs, & 9000 45s, thousands (have not estimated) of artist lapel pins, music literature including books, sheet music, magazines (“Billboard,” “Rolling Stone,” “Schwanns,” fanzines like “Discoveries”” and “Goldmine”), etc. I sold my records primarily via mail order so I threw out anything not in nice shape. This collection includes a wide variety of music from the 1920s to the 1990s, with the majority from the 1950s-‘70s. Many items in unplayed condition. This collection is worth several hundred thousand dollars. Great stock for brick & mortar shop and/or online business. Not cataloged yet are most sheet music, 78s, and magazines.
