Vg+/m- | THE GOOD MISIONARIES were the brainchild of SNIFFIN' GLUE/ALTERNATIVE TV mainman MARK PERRY. A loose, experimental collective based around Perry and Dave George they also included ATV bassist Dennis Burns, drummer Henry Badowski and vocalist Gillian Hanna. Gigs would often end with myriad 'friends' on stage 'helping out', one such regular 'helper' being Perry's good friend GENESIS P-ORRIDGE.
The eight tracks on this very hard to find LP were recorded live when TGM supported THE POP GROUP on their 'Animal Instincts' Tour. The version of 'Thief Of Fire' here, recorded at St Andrews University, features MARK STEWART and SIMON UNDERWOOD.
