Great 1st LP by this strange Hungarian group taking Folk music as a base and turning it into a spacey Progressive sound with heavy Guitar. You get Gypsy Violin, Zither, Bagpipes and Flute layered with Space drum, scorching Guitar and Bass. The most outstanding pieces for me are ‘Egy ágyon, egy kenyéren' (‘Common Bed Common Bread') and the vigorous ‘Ilju Haramia', I'd be curious to know which nation's folk musical heritage is taken the theme from. ‘Adjon az Isten' is a strange musical rework of a poem by Nagy László, this sounds a bit out of place in this indefinite reggae version, while the closing ‘Jöjj be szobámba' sounds like Fonográf judging on the backing chorus.
