Mieczyslaw Wojnicki, first tenor of the Warsaw Operetta Theatre is both a fine singer and accomplished actor and for some time already has been one of the leading Polish variety stars in the sixties years.He favours song songs whih combine a simple and pleasanttune with a poetic lyric.Among them the Italian songs appeal to him particularly.He supplies them with his own lyrics, some of them very subtle like the famous "Little Duck" and others.Two of them we'll hear on this record.
