Vg+/m- | Panos Dracos was/is a Greek producer/keyboardist who made this one conceptual solo album, inspired by Homer’s The Odyssey. Rather in the Rick Wakeman mode in its keyboard-basis and conceptual nature; there’s no narration, but there are cheesy “concept album” moments, like where we get a voice intoning “I AM POSEIDON, AND I WILL DESTROY YOU!” There’s also this “jugband-synthesizer” bit that seems straight from The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Kind of tacky, kind of entertaining, anything but essential.
