BANG | DEATH OF A COUNTRY (Limited to 300 copies on AQUA BLUE VINYL. The unissued 1971 album by BANG. The band was founded in August 1969, a week or two after Woodstock, by 16-year-old high school dropouts Frank Ferrera (vocals, bass) and Frank Gilcken (guitar), who swiftly recruited the 26-year-old Tony Diorio (drums). BANG was ready to become the next big thing in 1972, but things didn't work out as desired.
