HOOKFOOT | HOOKFOOT (+ 2 BONUS TRACKS. This band had originally been session musicians for artists on the DJM label, including a certain Elton John. None of their albums attracted much attention and they split up in 1974. Their final 45 'A' side was a cover of The Byrds' So You Want To Be A Rock And Roll Star. Caleb Quaye (who'd earlier recorded as Caleb) moved to the US where he continued to work as a session musician, and Roger Pope went on to play in Elton John's support band. Ian Duck, Dale Glover and Roger Pope were in The Soul Agents and The Loot together before forming this band.)
