TEE-SET, THE | SHE LIKES WEEDS : COLLECTED (The Tee-Set, with singer Peter Tetteroo, is one of the most successful Dutch pop groups ever. They were in the Dutch Top 40 no fewer than 22 times. She Likes Weeds reached number one in the Netherlands and Ma Belle Amie was one of the very few Dutch records to climb high in the American charts and become a worldwide hit. The Tee-Set was enormously popular in scores of countries around the world. All their hits, plus the Tee-Sets best LP tracks, have been brought together for the first time on this double CD; 25 of these tracks/versions have never before been released on CD. And the sound is of absolutely optimal quality: all the songs have been remastered, based on the original studio masters, and sound better than ever. Some of the tracks are particularly special. The opening track Ma Belle Amie is an appealing new reggae version new version from The Skankin Monks, with the original vocals by Peter Tetteroo. It will be released as a single, in September 2011, and supported by a clip.
