It is with great pride and joy that we present this album of original Jesus-Rock Music, composed, arranged and performed by one of the most unique new groups on the scene today. The name of the group, CHARISMA, means deep (Spiritual) communication and magnetic leadership. I believe that if you will listen carefully to the words of each song, you will agree that they have very much to say, and they express it well in today's idiom.
While the music is labeled Tock, it really is quite varied, from Afro-Jazz sound of the title song "RAPTURED," to the pure folk style of "FRIEND," you will observe the entire gamut of sounds, including Country, Acid-Rock and Balled. The dynamics of this group range from tender soft sounds to screaming crashing dissonance, this is what makes their music so communicative.

The group is composed of six students that were born, and have lived a continent apart, from California to Florida, the they share the same love for Jesus Christ which now binds them together. Their spiritual depth is best appreciated by attending a live performance, which always incorporates each individual's testimony and a gripping invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is a Soul-Saving experience.
The group consists of Majijean, the female vocalist, composer, pianist and popular beauty queen. James is the male vocalist, composer pianist, preacher and world traveler. Glyn is at the keyboard (Piano & organ) most of the time and arranges.Dave plays drums and entertains the group and audiences with his humorous antics. Jim plays the bass, is slim and quiet, but has a lot to say when he speaks. The guitar player, Dennis also plays carious percussion instruments.
The title of this album "RAPTURED," suggests that theology of this group. They are anxiously awaiting the return of Jesus Christ in the clouds as proclaimed by the angel at Jesus' transfiguration as recorded in the first chapter of the Book of the Acts of the Apostles.
