Avoid this Vinyl Record storage mistake. Maybe your records are at risk.

Floods do not happen just in basements; third floors flood too. So please try not to store your vinyl records on the floor or near it. If your house, your room or your record shop flood, there is a great risk for them to be destroyed. Many important parts of large vinyl record collections have been destroyed due to this mistake.

If you are a seller, we would ask you to reconsider your storage options, as this kind of situation could cost a lot of money. We are very well aware that it is extremely difficult to minimize the storage space; however if you have vinyl records stored near the floor, you should re-evaluate their positioning.
